The Challenge:
Following our site survey and conversation with the client, we came to the conclusion that the existing barrier was not in a position to be repaired due to the extensive damage. We therefore advised the client that a full replacement of the traffic barrier should be carried out. The client requested a highly visible, manual, low maintenance and easy to use barrier which was also great for security. It needed to span 9.5m as well. We supplied the customer with a brochure detailing what type of barrier we could install and an agreement was made.
The Outcome:
We attended site and removed the old damaged barrier using the correct equipment to ensure this was done safely. We then supplied and installed 1 x Manual Raise Arm Barrier which are a low maintenance, cost effective way of manually controlling access to unauthorised or controlled areas. The barrier comes with counter balance weights and with a lockable end rest, padlock and keys. All complete on time, within budget and this resulted in a very happy client.
